In Loving Memory
Raquel Ishay A"H
The heart behind Hosted by Raquel

Her Joy Was Giving
A life spent thinking of others.
Raquel Ishay A"H found her greatest happiness in giving. She was always attentive to what other people needed, and she had a gift for making the people around her smile.
The lessons she taught her family were lived, not just spoken: notice the needs of others, give with joy, and make every person feel cared for. Hosted by Raquel was created so that the joy she brought to others could keep reaching our community.
A Legacy That Continues
Run by her children, felt by her grandchildren.
The gemach is run by Raquel's children, who carry on the values she lived by. Her grandchildren share that every time their mothers go to the gemach, they are spending time with their grandma Raquel.
What began as a small effort has grown far beyond where it started, and it continues to inspire others to follow in her ways.
What We Hope For
Every table, a chance to give.
Beauty for every family
Every family deserves a table that feels special, without the cost or hassle of buying it all.
Community helping community
Pieces are shared from simha to simha, so one family's celebration helps make the next one possible.
A living legacy
Each borrowed piece is another act of kindness carried out in Raquel's memory.
"May we share in more semahot together."
